By: Annelise VintilaOne of the best pieces of advice I have ever gotten was from my mom who bluntly said, ‘It doesn’t matter if you suck or if you’re great, you just gotta be confident’. I didn’t agree with that statement in my teens, partially because I had low confidence; I also believed that talent and looks would get you farther in life. As I grew older, I noticed that the most beautiful people, inside and out, were ones that were comfortable in their own skin. They weren’t necessarily the best at a sport, the funniest person in the room or the most charming at a party but they exuded the most confidence (I would never tell my mom she was right). Confidence is rooted in a sense of self-esteem and self-improvement, and that feeling always starts with being happy with how you look and feel. Medical esthetics training has exponentially grown, as more and more people are willing to learn the art behind looking your best.
I’m Allowed to Feel Good!
Spa days can be absolutely magical, a day allocated to making yourself feel good and rejuvenating your body after long days at work. I got my first chemical peel a year ago and it changed my whole perspective on skin care.
Medical esthetics programs (chemical peels, manicures and pedicures, botox, dermal fillers, waxing) have been more widely accepted in recent years, and for good reason; they can enhance and complement a person’s vision of themselves. Some will disagree with physical alterations, but I think if you are truly confident in the way you look, you will not care about how others choose to change themselves.

Medical Esthetician Schools
Confidence means putting your happiness and self-worth first, and at times, that can be attached to a negative selfish connotation.
Medical esthetician schools have been essential in the training of anyone who would like to educate themselves further, with modules covering topics from skin care to laser hair removal. While learning the modules, one can further develop their own sense of worth and understanding and focus in on their better attributes instead of focusing on ones they don’t like about themselves. A positive attitude is contagious, and an educated esthetician in their field will influence others to own their look.
Medical esthetics can help brighten your mood
Personal development means constantly reflecting and improving on who you are; whether it’s internal or external, a sense of self-worth can get you through any rough situations. Loving who you are on the outside is a massive confidence booster, even if you choose to do a face mask at home or put on a great shade of lipstick, an aesthetic element can brighten up anyone’s mood.
https://www.intlbeautyinstitute.com can further develop anyone that would like to expand their aesthetic knowledge, with a personal touch of independent attention from a skilled teacher. Feeling beautiful on the outside is a catalyst for feeling great on the inside, and no one should be looked down upon when they want to improve their looks. While confidence is key, self-worth is crucial.
